I had intended to go to the studio again today and finish off the titling for our  ‘Paperwork’ exhibition February 7th – 17th 2013 with  Amy MacKinnon and Susan Thomas – the opening and wine tasting is February 7th, 6 – 8pm. The studio is where I have been over summer finishing, selecting, photographing and organising my work for the exhibition. Two artists from Dornwell Studios have work in group exhibitions at the moment. Chris Dennis has work in Korero at Uxbridge Centre – 20 artists from various disciplines, select from 20 carefully chosen poems on the theme of conversation, to use as inspiration for their artwork. The exhibition is on until 2 August. Chris’s work is below. Another artist, although not from Dornwell Studios, is also a poet – Sue Reidy’s poem ‘Calling the Dead’ has inspired an image by artist Lisa Bensen, showing in Korero. 3 2 1: 300mm by 200mm for $100 – A group exhibition of works on paper Amy, from our Dornwell Studio, has a  few paintings in this show, opening next week at the Letham Gallery.
